10 month old baby still learning to crawl

This is Ryan trying to crawl. He would rather roll around on the floor to get to where he wants. He can go in the crawling position then move backwards but that's it. I read on the Internet that he should be crawling by now, but also not to worry if your baby isn't crawling just yet. Alsong as they are mobile and have good hand eye co-ordination, thats all what matters. Some babies miss the crawling stage completly and just try to walk instead, and pull themselves up on furniture etc. Every baby is different. Please comment if you have a baby or know of a baby who isn't crawling yet at this age. Thanks a lot :)

Oh and by the way, he can crawl now :D yay!!! He has been crawling for a few weeks which is great news! He isn't that good at it, but at least he can move forwards. If he wants to get somewhere, he will get there lol x

Ryan took his first steps on his own, on Monday. He stood with his back against the sofa, leaning on it, and I held my arms out to him and called his name and he walked towards me then fell, but I caught him! I've been doing this every day since then hoping he will do more each time and before you know it he should be running riot haha. I have uploaded a few more videos of Ryan. I will have to get a video up on here of him walking, or attempting to walk :)

Thank you for your comments :) today he has been standing up a lot and holding onto things. I turned my head just for one split second, and he fell down and banged his head. It broke my heart when he cried. I felt so guilty. It made me cry too. He is doing really well other than his little accident. I'm happy with his progress. He's almost 11 months old now, so he should be walking any time soon. I will try and get another video of him trying to walk next :)

he is very cute... he'll learn lots of perseverance this way :) My baby boy doesn't crawl either. He rolls or inchworms his way across the floor. I'm sure your son and mine will figure it all out all too soon. And then we'll be wishing for the days when we could sit them down and get something done :)

he's a very cute baby! i have a baby who will be 10 months old in 2 weeks and his name is ryan too! he just recently learned how to crawl and now is all over the place and i've been going crazy chasing him! so enjoy it for now because by the looks of your video he'll soon enough get it and he'll start going everywhere! everything you said is true...not all babies learn to crawl and every baby develops differently but it's all normal. He seems perfectly healthy and fine.
