I was on the way up to go fishing with my dad when we heard. We had a battle of the bands planned that weekend, and my friend's guitar was destroyed in an accident. Everything that went on that week was so fucked up!

@PattiSioux PUNK IS THINKING FOR YOURSELF. You don't have to be a liberal to be a punk. It's about thinking for yourself, which Johnny did. I'm somewhat of a republican and I hate Reagan and saw him as the moneypinching Grinch he was. Johnny and Joey were brothers. If someone went after Joey then their asses would be beat in a second by Johnny. Yes, they had major political and possibly racial views. But don't we all?

@marcuz5419 As a teenager Johnny was obsessed with Manson and Hitler, but when he was in the Ramones he was well over it. He looked at them more as a joke than a god.
