i watch him on oprah today 7 Jan 2009, although its pretty late here, a few tears on my eyes..for how great a little soul can teach us about how precious life is,that love is a gift, and no matter how old we are, we are a great unique being, who deserve a great life & never have to afraid to show the beauty that we have in our heart. we can always be who we are..and never give-up in love..

This little boy has done more in his little lifetime then most people who live to be an adult! He will be missed because he touched my life!

The artist here portrays just as well as Billy Gilman the message herein, and is as talented as Billy. I enjoy both of these artists. The important thing is Mattie's memory, and efforts are remembered, and it doesn't matter who is better than who as long as he, and his efforts are remembered. I had not heard of Mattie until I accidentally found all the videos here on You Tube. Quite a remarkable boy.
