Guys, Bret hart wrestled on after the goldberg incident until the end of his wcw contract in 2000. The stroke crippled bret in 02 and that is the main reason why he can't take major bumps. He did suffer concusion from goldberg but the stroke left him for dead, its actually amazing that he's still doing flying elbow's.

@patlyon The stroke was the major reason why bret can't take bumps, it ruined bret hart not just goldberg, everyone forgets that he did wrestle on after the goldberg incident until his contract ran out in 2000 with wcw and he didn't renew it.

I was there that night, I Marked out like crazy when Bret did the diving elbow, being that it was the first time I saw Bret ever.

I am absolutely astonished that Bret is doing those moves again. I never thought i'd see him perform any of his trademark moves again apart from the sharpshooter. After all he has been through and the fact he is in his 50's now, to still pull off a flying elbow from the top rope is f*cking incredible!! I've always been a huge fan of Bret and I hope he can perform moves like this in Raw on a frequent basis again. Of course he can't take big knocks but i'd love to see him wrestle again.
