If you are on a budget don't be afraid to go used.I know I don't make a lot and I am divorced with kids so I have to go cheap.You might be surprised at how much more you get for your money when you go used.Wont promote any companies on here but a large chain music store is right down the road with TONS of great used stuff.Then again I live in Nashville so I may just have a better selection just because I live in a huge music town

I have a $50 Valenciana guitar and I hate it. Sounds so irritatingly horrible. Had a similar one, but small-body, when I was a kid and ended up smashing it on the ground. That time was for fun, this time will be out of anger and frustration. Carry on.

HHmmm I have about £1000 to spend on a guitar, can I get much better than the Martin d15? I love how plain and old school it looks ontop of the sound so its topping my list so far

@MCRlKiLLjoY @DirectXTC @Captt95 - You all make valid points. $1000 is expensive - no doubt about it. Norm is used to dealing in very expensive instruments, so in his world 1k isn't that bad. Personally (this is Kones) I have a $300 Seagull that I use constantly and I love it - It's one of my favorite guitars. I think we'll do another episode on guitars under $500 soon. There's a lot of great stuff out there.
