  • Makes you sick : " We do not approve of your extra curricular activities outside of the marital bed. For that, we have decided to let it affect our judgement on you in this matter, and end your life. We consider ourselves good church going people".

  • Ellis cut his throat with a razor, to the point of near decapitation.

  • John Ellis (Her executioner) was never the same after he hung her.. Ellis took to drinking heavily attempted suicide he eventually killed himself 8 years later.

  • @C666B None of the things you say she was guilty of are capital offences. If there was no evidence (i. e forensic evidence, not hearsay, supposition, opinion, conjecture or the implications of her letters) there was grounds for reasonable doubt. She might well have been involved in the planning of the murder. It was up to the Crown to prove it. As Baywaters said she was innocent, she was convicted her very little evidence, and capital cases, quite correctly, warrant a much higher burden of proof

  • i love this movie , where can i found ? to download it?

  • She had indicated to Bywayters on many previous occasions that she had desired the death of her husband. She was at the very least clearly guilty of shielding an offender and perverting the course of justice by swearing false statements on oath. Nothing she said could be believed. She declined to give any reasonable account of their last meetings. She was plainly a devious liar who hated her husband as much as she desired the lifestyle that being married to him afforded her. Sorry, no sympathy..

  • pretty gross what happened when she actually 'dropped'...

  • @cracklesnapqueen She was the victim of 'double jeopardy' for women in the criminal justice system. She had violated the unwritten laws that she had not confirmed with gender expectations - i.e. she was judged not only the murder charge but by the fact that she had had an affair. See Helena Kennedy's book 'Eve Was Framed'.
