The Alley, Incirlik, Adana

A tour of a section of "The Alley," located outside Incirlik Air Base in Incirlik, Turkey. The alley consists of a few blocks of Turkish shops that cater to military personnel stationed on the air base. A Turkish soldier was inadvertently filmed approximately two minutes into the video. It's supposedly illegal to photograph the Turkish military.

I lived there from 82-84. Get some great deals. Miss that place, the people were nice and the food was good...( after you adjusted to the water )...lol

Wow, i can't believe how empty the Alley looks, now every store you pass everyone keeps trying to get you to come in their store. Also theres like 5 Turks in front of every store. Ya'll must have had it good back then.

hahaha i lived there for 2 years (93-94) and it still looks exactly the same!! what a dump that place was and still is -- even if they paved the streets in gold it would still be a dump. ;)

woooooowww.....this video makes me sad. i lived there in 2000 (Go Hodjas!) The alley was the spot! Always full of people!!! WHAT HAPPENED!!! It looks like a ghost town now! :( Those were the best years of my life....literally! I think its really awesome that you have this video. now i can show my friends! Its really hard to explain to people what another country was like. Thank you!

For me a walk down memory lane. I was there 80 - 81. There is pavement now, glass store fronts, restaurants even. Back in the day there was one place to eat and it put me in the hospital for a week. Thanks for sharing.

@UnderMediKated I was there in 88-89 also, I was in the Air Force stationed in Spain.we went TDY there.
