That's because just before he was on his best point in his carreer (transfer to the British Premier League) he broke his leg in one of the first games he played for Aston Vila.. his carreer stopped right there, it was awfull

Luc Nilis, one of the greatest Belgian players ever.. He would've had a great carreer in the PL too but after a couple games with Aston Villa he broke his leg and his carreer was over.. he scored a world class goal in one of those games though
