Terminator Salvation: Extended Teaser (*Not* Official, Fan-Made)

A new extended teaser I put together for Terminator Salvation. When I saw the original released by WB, I was both excited and slightly disappointed - - because, it was lacking in the Terminator style sounds and music (all it had was the classic Terminator drums). So, I decided to create a short score for the teaser myself. I also added a few video clips from the older Terminator trailers that fit in with the future war theme.
I felt that this teaser should instantly grab your attention with a Terminator-like sound... This short score is inspired by both Brad Fiedel's and Marco Beltrami's Terminator soundtracks.
Using the sounds on my workstation synth, I tried to replicate the signature T-800 mechanical heart beat and T-1000 falling-brass-ensemble sounds that Fiedel had created for T1 and T2. The results are pretty creepy... My selection of percussion instruments is more inspired by Beltrami's T3 score.

This video was made in Windows Movie Maker.
Contains clips from the first Terminator Salvation teaser, Terminator 1, 2 & 3 future war scenes, and a few explosions from Terminator: SCC commercials. The endoskeleton at the end is from one of the UK T:SCC television commercials.

This fan made trailer...was better than the real movie. As a die hard terminator fan...I was let down in almost every way from that movie. The score the most! Good trailer sir.

I had assumed WB wouldn't use any sound clips from past Terminator movies, and I didn't expect them to. I didn't think the original choice of trailer music was bad, I just thought it could have been better. The original trailer music didn't make me think "scary-robot-terminators"... So I set off to compose my own music of what I thought had a more instantly recognizable Terminator feeling & without being a carbon copy of the Fiedel & Beltrami themes.

All of the music you hear in this video was performed & recorded by me. I recorded it entirely on my Korg Triton synthesizer. I did not use any samples or altered clips of Fiedel's or Beltrami's scores.

@MPXmusic the terminator's were never scary to me he was cool actually one reason why it's so poular.
