The F450 is set up very well stock, but if you tow the maximum weight, lift it or increase the power you will get rear axle wrap that will cause the hard shifting feeling like your transmission shifts too hard. U-Joints, slip spline, carrier bearing and transmission will all show premature wear or fail completely if you don't control the rear axle. No compromise traction systems from One Up Offroad will let you apply full power to the ground with no drive train damage, no binding and no noise. They do not limit articulation of your rear axle. This top of the line system will let you stop in a shorter distance loaded or unloaded. The bounce you feel under hard or panic braking will be gone. This system improves your ride because the leaf springs no longer have to control the axle wrap, the springs only have to hold up the truck. The force to drive the truck forward is removed from the spring and transferred thru the bar keeping the spring from being on the overload just driving down the road.
