DemonRally - Wild West Rally 2009 - Hagen N

Stage 10 started day 2 off well. We tied this stage with the much more powerful Subaru STI of Mark Mager and Jody Olson. This placed us a sold 4th overall, the spot we ended up in at the end of the day. This was also a Gp2 and 2WD win for us, by a mere 4 seconds over rival Cody Crane.

We finished the event 1st in 2WD/Gp2 both days, 6th overall day 1, and 4th overall day 2. This came despite numerous mechanical breakdowns including a melted shift linkage, a broken motor mount destroying the radiator fan, a severe oil leak, and a broken front strut. In the spirit of rally, we pressed on regardless and finished our first event in the new car respectably.
