MKY Hoops First Performance

My friend J-Boogie and myself (Nicky Beat) decided to create a hoop group named MKY Hoops. This was our first performance on March 5, 2010. The American Red Cross was hosting an event at a local elementary school where students who donated money got to leave class early and attend a basketball game. The catch was that the 6th grade basketball team was playing against their teachers. The event was called "Hoops for Heart" and MKY was asked to perform at half time in front of 400+ people.
We experienced a couple of set backs...but oh well. The music started while they were still introducing us during the first song. The students started clapping so loud that we couldn't hear the second song start so that was fun. Oh yea, then I failed to secure my LED hoop shut, so the battery went flying. Oh well...Nerves and all. I believe for it being our first performance we did fine. Afterwards tons of kids and adults were asking us questions about hooping.
