On February 1, 2009, revelers from around the world turned out for the Chinese New Year Parade celebrating the Year of the Ox in New York Chinatown. It was a bright and sunny afternoon, a perfect winter day to spend outdoors taking in the sights and sounds of the lion and dragon dancers, drums, cymbals and gongs.
