I don't think it was meant to be scary as much as it was a suspense/mystery and in that regard I thought it did very well

Not really a fan of british films but this one was sooooooooo good. I'd say it was just as haunting as The Others. Only thing is at the end does she end up a ghost herself, I think she does? & that ginger haired boy & the bloke are the only one's who can see her (someone please explain why that is). Oh wait a minute when the 2 of them were talking in the kitchen & she asked him does he see ghosts (the bloke) does that mean he died in the trenches? Thanx

too slow the first hour of the film, but then it gets super-interesting, worth the wait

It's not scary movie neither was it meant to be (to the assbags who don't like good movies/ only like movies where there is blood and guts). It is a good movie, it is suspenseful and the ending isn't predictable. If you are a simpleton you will be confused.
