yer i found a really good setup. i run approx 125psi and very fast rebound. thee stutter bumps have dissapeared and the spv opens on the big hits. i've tried a fox shock with a brain and it is hopeless- it bobs on flat and is locked out on big hits...

your swinger is just ok man!the problem is not the shox itself,its the way where you ride...if you just use it in the city,then you wont feel how active the swinger is,but if you go for a mountain area riding,especially in high speed,you will find that theres totally nothing wrong with your swinger!!!

pike is good,but i stick with marzocchi,cause it got almost 59 years history...and z1 is the most reponsitive fork to small bump,little bit soft bu t really comfortable man,you shall try the 07 z1,further it got hot orange colour...what are you waitting for dude!

i weight 80,and the main air presure is about 150psi,spv 80psi,5 click reboud setting...

oh,rockshox pearl might be good,but the motion control usually need a maintainess twice a year...a big deal of payment...

i got manitou swinger air 3-way,i tho its the same one as you got...swinger does work well,trust me,its a set and forget stuff,though the spv might lose some air,but it doesnt annoy me at all...fox rear shox sucks,they stuck down,too harsh when using prepedal,too soft when using open...unless you got cancreek or 5th element shox(too expensive),swinger is enough for your riding only if you dont ask it for too much...

the pike is the heavyest - probably stronger, but a bit industrial

Bomber will feel the most responsive to small bumps, and is set up with a soft spring - (assuming coil??)

The talas gives a harsher ride on small stuff - but will take bigger hits with more control(plus has lots of adjustments) - fox is most expensive tho...

i have an 06 reign 1 with pike teams, manitou swinger, full xt, crank bros mallets, funn ripper stem and fatboy bar, raceface carbon seatpost, funn snakeskin seat, minion 2.35's, crossmax xl, and juicy 7's with 8 inch rotors

what i want to ask is what have you got your shock set on. it is working really well, mine doesn't work half as much. any info would be great thanks

yeah,am1 also might be ma choice,but why i chose the z1 is surely not because of the rc2,its because of its orange colour:-D
