I concur with Dave on the nickel signals especially the older nickels they tend to be bouncy, and the conduct on the older ones will drop down to 10 or 11 sometimes, listen to the sound. I dug two mower struck ones the other day almost bent in half and they were giving some crazy numbers too!
Hey,good hunt Dinger51...When hunting for nickels with the Etrac...Don't sweat the FE #'s..As long as the conductive stays a consistant 12-15...Dig it...I have dug 'V',and buffalo nickles with FE#'s from 1-26...
Keep up the good work. You are learning your e-trac and by the time spring gets here, you are going to be a silver-finding monster! Those large pieces of copper flashing always trick me too. Seems like I find them about a foot deep and it sounds like a coin until I get down there. Best wishes and HH, Dave.
cool video! I am sure you will get silver soon.
