Well...McDonalds isn't really a realistic example...as McDonalds targets poor people. Gays don't generally fall into that group. Advertisers refer to gays as DINKS...double income with no kids...and their buying power is substantial. Up to 25% higher than average households.

A good example of buying power is a magazine sales rack. Compare the number of gay magazines and black magazines by % of population

Political agendas have focused upon the gay population as the last frontier and means to help further their vote momentum, they have magnified them and their lifestyle in the media, it comes no where near being black in comparison just because you choose an alternative lifestyle. Not bashing anyone, but who would benefit from appealing to their needs? Not the local Mcdonalds corporation, they got gay and straight money, u gotta feed ya self regardless. Politicians help remove the veil of shame.

@tofugodess12 cousin was hung 4 years ago ..umm your right it wan't a common occurence. Being shot in the back of the head for just glancing at a white women was. Straight Black woman, by the way.
