On May 5, 2014, at 11:50 pm, the complainant, a 20 year-old male Temple University student, was walking through an alley on the 18xx block Berks Street he was approached from behind by five unknown males when two of the suspects struck him in the back of his head knocking him to the ground. While the complainant was on the ground the suspects continued beating the complainant taking his cellphone. The suspects then fled and were last seen south on 18th Street. The complainant was transported to Temple Hospital where he was treated for a dislocated right should, scrapes to his hands and a bloody nose. The suspects were last seen in the area of 1800 Berks Street and 1800 North 18th Street.
Suspect Description: Five (5) black males, 18-23 years-of-age, four (4) wearing all black clothing and one suspect wearing light colored clothing.
