The Facts Behind Mitt Romney's Allentown Campaign Ad

Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney recently shot a campaign ad in Allentown, PA. In the video he is pictured in front of Allentown Metal Works, a metal factory that President Obama visited in 2009 and that was forced to close its doors earlier this year. Romney argues that the closing of the factory shows that President Obama's economic policies have failed.
Dutch correspondent Tom Kleijn of TV show "Nieuwsuur" travels to Allentown, to check the facts behind Mitt Romney's campaign ad. Kleijn talks with the mayor of Allentown, Ed Pawlowski, union leader Jerry Green and a former employee of the plant, John Harold.

It doesn't matter who was elected in 2008. The economy was and still is due for more set back. On a larger time frame this will need several more years to bottom out.
