Futaba radio distance test. The results may vary when you have the receivers mounted in the actual RC vehicles. www.KillerRC.com is my website.

  • hey whats the different with 4pks then 4pk . not sure what one to buy only 100 buck different

    thanks

  • @kingazza12311 The 4PKS has faster signal speed, a few more menu options for rock crawler type stuff, different trigger, more steering wheel angle adjustments, different navigation button. The 4PKS comes with a smaller receiver, which can handle a 2S LiPo battery pack. They stopped making the 4PK a year ago.

  • this is not true, Futaba themselves says 4pks has only range of 240 feet.

  • @lanedtul Futaba must be very modest. They go way farther than 240ft.

  • Does the 4pks have telemetry ?

  • @TheBlader9 No. Thats just Spektrum. The telemetry stuff has limited range and isn't very reliable anyway, IMO.

  • Very nice to see an actual test, glad my car can go further than I can see safely!! lol

  • @pb2themax sweet thanks heaps i am gonna get a 4pks for one of my scx10 builds called scx10 pully

    thanks heaps man

  • I just picked up a 4PL myself and weening me back out of Spektrum and back to Futaba. My first was a 3PM Magnum FM...years if reliable service on my Baja. Decided to go 2.4 with what I had laying around so bound that to my 2PL. 4PL controls my scale trucks, rock racers, and my FT RC8Be. Go Futaba!

  • Why in the world were you banned off the baja forms?

  • Futaba sells better radios than spektrum for lower prices! Exept for the 14MZ ($2,500

  • @lanedtul Watch this vid...

  • @pb2themax

i did a range test myself with it soon as i got the repaired reciever, it had a bad antennae wire, i went almost 1/4 mile and still no signal loss.
