Dead Space: Battle with Leviathan (Impossible Round 1)

As the title suggests, this is me battling Leviathan on impossible difficulty. This is still in round 1, so no military suit or highly upgraded weapons and the like. In fact, most of the stuff I have at this point is not upgraded at all. This is about the level you will be at in round 1 in chapter 6.

Game: Dead Space
Difficulty: Impossible
Round: 1
Equipment: Level 3 suit (no upgrades), Contact Beam (no upgrades), Plasma Cutter (3 upgrades on damage and 3 on capacity)

If you mean the Contact Beam, then no, it's not upgraded at all.

The Plasma Cutter (the very first weapon you get) does however have some upgrades.

What were you spending all your credits on? This is FAR from the amount of upgrades you could have at this point.

You know you can buy Power Nodes, right? That's the most efficient investment of your credits.

Better weapons means you can kill enemies more quickly and easily, meaning less ammo used and less need for Medpacks. Therefore, you can sell excess ammo and Medpacks, allowing you to buy more Power Nodes, and the cycle goes on.

oh yeah i only used plasma cluster it was very f*8kn annoying on impossible cause i kept running out of ammos

before u wake up tht peace out s**t make sure u get ammo and health in tht room than when u make sure u got it all beat the living s**t out of him

This boss was so easy, I mean, even on medium(my first playthrough), it was more of a relief than a threat.

A bunch of slashers backed up by lurkers are scarier than this...

I just used the pulse rifle the whole time for that boss, just make sure you have plenty of ammo... dont worry about your HP
