@josephpalermo I think they used to, but as will often happen with conventions, they branched out a bit. "Doctor Who" conventions allow masquerade contestants to dress as characters from "Star Trek," "Star Wars," "Blake's 7," etc.

As this is a celebration of Superman, they should have restricted it to characters from the Superman universe or at least DC comics.
