Learn These 12 Major & Minor Chords First - Beginning Piano Day Three

There are 12 major chords and 12 minor chords, 24 total.
but the easier way to remember all the chords is these two formulas: 4+3 & 3+4
There are 12 chords starting on the white keys though that are the ones you should learn first. They happen in most fake books and songs more than any other!

The 12 chords to learn first are:
Cmajor & Cminor
Dmajor & Dminor
Emajor & Eminor
Fmajor & Fminor
Gmajor & Gminor
Amajor & Aminor

To find each chord, count up the half steps:
Major Chords = 4half steps + 3half steps
Minor Chords = 3half steps + 4half steps

when playing some chords my pointer finger has a tendency to stick up. i know this is a bad habit, but do you have any suggestions on how to break it??

@mariakas13 Major is "happy" Minor is "sad". The difference is the middle not thats either 2 or 3 halftones away.
