A video about my favorite lost boy on CW's "Gossip Girl." It revolves around how lonely Nate feels in his Upper Est Side world and his eternal, fruitless quest for meaning and maybe true love.
I attempted to detail his crumbling relationship with Blair, his obsession with Serena, tentative affair with Vanessa, and how his friendship with Chuck sort of helps him hold it all together.
The song is "The Astronaut" by Something Corporate. All clips belong to the CW :)
This is for my bestest friend, Ambuler, on her birthday. I luuurve you!

Great vid! I looooove Nate Archibald and the song choice was great. I think he's a great character and I like the way they show his vulnerability and uncertainty. His storyline with his crazy parents was my favorite and brought a lot of depth to his character. Even the weird duchess storyline had me still rooting for him. I want him to get back with Vanessa, but I don't think it's gonna happen, sigh.

i really wish they gave Nate some good storylines and really show what an interesting character he actually is. i mean he's supposed to be one of THE main guys in the UES right? now he's just hanging around brooklyn. wtf.

I really love Nate (especially in seasons 1 and 3, lol), and I think he started off as a really interesting character. :)
And, after the mess that was his 'manwhoring' is season 2, he's making his way back.

Thank you so much! I didn't even realize how interesting Nate was until Episode 10, when he seemed to completely change what he was about. Now that I go back over all the episodes, he has become one my favorite characters :)
