EDIT: seems like youtube killed this one, it only offers a cheap low bitrate 240p version now, killing the purpose of this video :\

damn...you must have a fast computer to get it to run smoothly at that detail level and speed.

I think julian means that it takes a lot of resources to run on DOSBOX. It's an emulator that can eat up a great deal of power, especially on older computers.

Ahh, yes. That's the way I play- impossible/turbo/wild. There was a time when I played Tyrian this way on a daily basis.

Yes, you need a pentium processor for it. 386 and 486 machines won't pull this kind of heavy graphics.

(A Core 2 Quad will also suffice ;-))
