@Uci your right was the sense if you have nothing behind homeplate to see the cut of the ball before it reaches home plate!! The pitch is very similiar as a slider the grip slightly different. TAKE TWO MY FRIEND!!!

the first way is much easier to do. this is how mariano rivera throws it and i throw this and have had great success. Deilver like a natural 4 seam fstaball and grip like 4 seamer, off center, and more pressure on the middle finger.
