  • I got the flowtech headers and afterburner mufflers on my 550 hp 383 stroker. Mine sounds simlair. But with some headers i will bring it to life

  • @Baseballstud5964 Yeah, my new setup is Flowtech Long Tubes, X pipe, and Magnaflow Magnapack catback. .

  • i just stuck mine on my 5.4l f150 but they seam a lot quieter. did yours get louder over time?

  • @extreek Mine wasn't too loud in the first place. once I took the cats off thats when it really started to get loud. but I bought the car with these mufflers on already so I have no idea if they got louder as time went on. But I do know with my current magnaflow catback the mufflers got louder and louder the more I drove it for the first week or so. People told me they would need to be broken in. so maybe flowtech is the same way?

  • ride that clutch man

  • hahaaha, I know, omg. Newb a stick back then.

  • Hmm sounds like almost every other 4.6 SOHC 2valve to me.. I'm sorry I can't stand the sound of a 2valve any more only thing that sounds sexy besides a 5.4 is a 4.6 DOHC 4valve.. 3valves are ok but they sound just as much all alike just as the 2 valves do.

  • This is one of the best sounding exhaust setup's that I've ever heard. If I ever go with chambered mufflers, it would be these!

  • @bnixon42

sometimes with a powerful car you have to ride the clutch a bit so you don't break the tires loose, my truck doesn't have much power but with an open diff and bald tires it breaks them loose easily
