I agree. I have also had such a lot of trouble with bufflao drives and their new regime, that I have given up using them. I am thinking of cloud as the way forward.

Your better off buying a itx motherboard case and some drives and building your own high quality high powered nas for an extra $50 bucks on top of the price of a cheap two drive nas

Thanks for making this video. I have 3 original Terastations and Bufflo still gives me free 24 hour tech support after all of these years. I am thinking about getting another NAS to replace them all and price is an issue for me. I may not try to get the cheapest NAS on the market now that I've heard what your experience was like with another company. I may just pay more for another Terastation so I can be sure I get the great customer support that they offer.
