The 2-star Hostal Pizarro is in the heart of Madrid's buzzing centre, surrounded by loads of great shopping, tapas bars and typical life in den Spanish capital. There's plenty to see and do, and the location of this great little hotel is a perfect base to get to the sites.

If you are into the youth culture, the nearby Malasaña area has a bohemian feel with bars playing everything from rock to Indie. There are also many plazas and outdoor cafes with seating where you can enjoy a drink in the sun. This is also a great area to get a cheap meal. This small gay friendly budget hotel offers newly renovated rooms in a historical building. There are twin and double rooms, all of them come fully equipped with a telephone, hair dryer, TV, safe, wireless internet, air-conditioning and heating. There is a TV lounge, a safe, wireless internet in the public areas, a laundry service and private car park (additional charge). A great hotel for a nice price in central Madrid!
