Scientific facts? Ok, we'll make YOU the lab rat. I want you to go 7 days without sinning. Do that and you'll prove God wrong. But if you do sin, you need a payment for that sin. Jesus blood is God's payment for your sin. Is that foolishness or an advanced revelation that science hasn't discovered yet? You know, scientists don't have the best reputation for being up to date - see the FACTS of history.

PS. your so-called "writings of man" contain prophecy that has been fulfilled to the T! Study!

I'm not sure how your analogy makes any sense whatsoever. How is not letting someone use the bible to prove god's existence the same as not letting someone have 40 eye witnesses testify? In simple debating...you should at least make some sort of sense. At least modern day's witnesses would be videotaped, and recorded. Much more proof than hearsay through a book of fiction. Someone of Islam, Sikhism, Buddhism, Judaism and so on can recycle your EXACT rebuttals...what do you say to them?

It's the simple sense of logic, and proof by substance. by your standards I can write a book about the flying spaghetti monster, and by hearsay I can say 40 witnesses in the past saw this spaghetti monster. They are dead today of course, because the book was written ages ago. Then say Spaghetti monster experts cross examined the book, and found it to be true....doesn't make it true. Sitting in a church doesn't make you any more of a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car.

Who says that I cannot use the Bible as evidence for itself. If it exists why then is it not "A" witness for itself. If the material found in the Bible "jives" with other well known facts, it is then a credible witness. Not using the Bible to prove God will judge mankind is like not allowing 40 eyewitnesses to testify in a court case. The witnesses are viable, credible and have been cross examined by smarter and more honest people than you. Jesus said, You MUST be born again. It's not an option

I hope all of ur intelligence works for you when you stand before God and explain to Him why he's not there.

The fact is, that u are exercising FAITH. You BELIEVE that when you exhale your final breath that NOTHING will be there. And that FAITH of yours is based on desperation. In order to live with your "faith", you have to reject your conscience (the one you had prior to ur education), facts of archeology, manuscript evidence, and the multitudes of "smart people" who believe. CU@the judgment.
