The legendary clarinetist Pete Fountain performs with cornetist Connie Jones' French Quarter Festival All-Stars. Also, Otis Bazoon on sax, Tim Laughlin on clarinet, Rick Trolsen on trombone, David Boeddinghaus on piano, Bryan Barberot on drums. Ed Wise on bass. Intro by Ronnie Kole. The opening tune is "Clarinet Marmalade", with "St. Louis Blues" in the second part. What a way to kick off French Quarter Fest 2009!
Happy. =^D

Why did you cut David Boeddinghaus off at 6:57? He was in the middle of a terrific solo!

Wonderful stuff!! Thanks for posting this! Pete looks great and it's great to see him playing in New Orleans!
Thanks also for the great write-up on who's who! I love Tim's solo in this! It's also great to get to hear Otis, Rick, and (of course) Connie!
What a collection of greats - all on one stage!
I envy you for having been there for this performance. Great city, great music, and great musicians! Simply magic.
