Proper medical precautions?
For a second I thought I was on YouTube...

if you act too clean all your life your imune system will be zero. This guy had every right to do this minor surgery. I cut an overgrowth off my gum with a freaking steak knife and was fine.

@awesomelyshiny I've done worse than this without even being clean and I am still alive today no infections. People are too bubble wrapped these days
-
@kday1972 sorry it must not show well in the video but it is a hollow needle.
-
@diamondgirl828 That's not an IV needle - it's not hollow. You could do what he's doing with something as simple as a sewing needle.

So that's where hair gel comes from!

@diamondgirl828 It's pretty common practice in most of Europe. Injecting equipment is readily available where I live in the UK (I work in drug & alcohol harm reduction). It may appear at first to be a tricky moral decision, but if you look at the wikipedia article on "needle exchange program" you'll see that there's no evidence that increased availability of sterile equipment increases drug use. There is a definite lowering of the incidence of HIV and HepC infection though.

@misconstrudel - It's a slipperty slope if you ask me. Either way it goes, drug overdoses increase meaning more deaths, or disease increases meaning more deaths. Isn't it Sweden that the drug stores give the needles to drug addicts? I think they do this in an effort to keep down the spread of HIV or HEPC...
I got a ganglion in my left arm as well, around same spot as you. Sometimes it hurts like son of a bitch, but is usually harmless unless pressure is laid on it.
I've heard it could be worse in your arm (location) if you try to take it out, instead of better... Is this true?

@n00bzen I can't tell you for sure if that'll make it worse, but it will probably be more complicated. the wrist is relatively easy to aspirate because it's such a protruding bulge.

I have one of these but I heard it wasn't life threatening. Should I go get it removed or not? I'm terrified of needles and the cyst doesn't cause me any pain. It just looks funny.. thoughts?

@iToxicwolf if it doesn't bother you, don't bother with it. mine only bugged me because it limited physical activity.
