I just started this new Human Flag series. I hope you enjoy both this video and the ones soon to come. Thanks.

I've always considered myself to be moderately strong, fit and healthy. I've been into weight-lifting for years; I've competed in many long-distance races, including one marathon at the young age of 16; and I've obtained the rank of Black Belt in Korean martial arts. However, it wasn't until November of 2007--the month I was introduced to the competitors of Japan's famous Sasuke "Ninja Warrior" Competition--that I realized what it really meant to be strong. Powerful men and heros such as Makoto Nagano, Mr. Ninja Warrior, and Shunsuke Nagasaki acted as the catalyst to spark my desire to compete in Ninja Warrior, and so I immediately began my training.

As I mention in the video, my goal is to compete in the SPRING, 2009 Ninja Warrior Competition (in March of 2009), and I've trained hard for it. Of course, I'll continue my training, always progressing in strength, speed, agility, endurance, and flexibility, and I'll do my best to create small videos such as this one to chart my progression.

By the time I submit my G4 American Ninja Warrior Challenge Video (right around December, 2008 / January, 2009), I hope you'll all watch and vote for me. With your votes and with your support, I'll have the opportunity to travel to Japan and represent the American People in Sasuke's 22nd Season. However, I have no intention of simply going and competing and having a good time. I'm going to win! I'm going to become the first true American Ninja Warrior, by conquering all four stages and ascending to the summit of Mount Midoriyama!

Please continue to watch my videos. As time goes on, the videos will become more and more impressive. I promise you that.

Thanks for watching and for your support. If you leave a comment, please leave one of support and encouragement. Nobody likes receiving comments intended to ridicule and tear down one's dreams.

  • Holly crap!!!!! When do you qualify for NW buddy?

  • I'll be submitting my Ninja Warrior Entry Video to G4 TV around mid-December. They'll review it, then make it public in January, 2009 for the people to vote on it. If my video receives enough votes, they'll send me to Japan in March to compete. It all depends on whether I can get enough people to support me. I know that you're one of my fans, and I truly appreciate that. Thanks a ton.

  • nice im doing these cant quite do as long as u tho lol hav u ever done it on a pole....

  • I have. I'll be sure to post additional "Human Flag" videos, with at least one using a pole. Thanks.

  • im not sure if the work out is as intense as the music.....

  • To match the music, you'd have to be battling a robot army in the night, with lightning flashing, a fallen samurai's sword in your hand and with three remaining grenades
