Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) was detailed to preach his Mission (Oneness of Allah) during the time of Emperor Nimrud. People worshipped idols, the stars and other phenomena occurring in nature. And when Ibrahim said to his father, Azar (i.e., the man who had brought him up): Do you take idols for gods? Surely I see you and your people in manifest error. (6:74)Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) is also accredited for raising the foundation of Holy Kaa'ba - the first house made for mankind at Mecca. And when Ibrahim and Ismail raised the foundations of the House: Our Lord! Accept from us; surely Thou art the Hearing, the Knowing: (2:127)

Yes they have either removed it or made a wall around it. Here is a you tube video and you can see a wall instead of that obelix. In Vatican its a sacred symbol and the obelix is also in Washington as a revered object for those so called civilized people. It is difficult for Satan and its followers to see the obelix stoned for centuries!!

Recently the saudi government cover this "obelix" with a wall !! Now the Muslims have to throw stone on the wall instead on the obelix. I use the word "Obelix because this is the symbol of shaitan and the Shaitan worshipper will never let any one throw stone at it!! Now google "obelix washington" and see how they respect the Obelix !!

So when they see Muslims throw stone at their obelix they cant stand it!! therefore they cover the obelix agains a wall in order to protect their master!!

Islam gives the solution as when Muslims conquered all these areas they gave right to live and worship their own religion to christians and Jews. This is evident from centries old churches and synagogoues in Muslim world.
