Purple Hair (with bleaching!)

Bleaching times vary depending on your hair color and its condition. Since my hair was pink, had been bleached, and I was putting a pink-based color over it, I just used 20 volume for about 40 minutes to lighten and even things up.

@nekoshiko Hey, wondering if you could help me, I want to bleach my hair with 20 volume on my dark brown hair, what colour would it turn out? I'm using that bleach because I really don't want to damage my hair and i'm putting purple over it anyway xxx

@ahhhhstacy the lightest color I can get my hair to bleach out to is a yellow/light orange blonde color. Would pink and blue cover that okay?

so you put the hair dye in a bowl, and then you put condition, does that affect the condition of the hair dye or not?

i dyed my hair blue, and its really faded now so i was going to bleach it and do pink will pink dye over blue if any is left after bleaching it? :)

@LegacyLauren I have put atomic pink over some bleached, stubborn blue velvet, and it covered perfectly. If your hair is really blue, it might look purple-ish, but as long as it's faded (and especially after bleaching) it should be just fine!
