cool video i guess but its sort of dumb because everyone knows a vette would smoke a camaro given all things equal. a vette is for a guy with class and few bucks that wants a sports car, the camaro is more for the redneck variety...generally speaking.

This has to be the funniest, fakest video on youtube. Come on did you get your buddy in the vette to let you win for this video? You would have to have monster mods to beat a stock c6 vette. exhaust, gears and tuning wouldnt get you close. Heres some specs for you. 1999 z28 HP 305 VS 2005 vette 400 and the vette is much lighter, WOW. NO CHANCE !

I have a 99 Z28 myself with a few bolt ons n alot of ppl I race r surprised at how it runs. get Ur ass in an ls1 with sum1 who actually KNOWS how to drive one and then u can make Ur opinions.I hate how guys act like they know their cars when they don't know shit.

@91Ef9racer I miss my 98 z28 now I have a rb25 240sx. But I also had 323's in my camaro I remember racing a good amount of vettes and it was always a close race. not to mention independent rear suspension doesn't hook as well off the line in a vette. thats why I'm hooknbook lol. The vette may seem to be superlative to the camaro, too most people who don't understand GM. Realistically an ls1 is a inexpensive motor that is light and has a simple push rod design that can be made fast easily

SMH. my 323s in my 99 Z makes me out run 02 c5s... people just piss me off..

Sure stock for stock a 08 vett is faster...its more updated than a 99 camaro but buy a camaro and put the same amount in building the motor as it would cost to buy a stock vett then run them...a stock camaro may cost 10k for a good car...a vett goes for around 65ish
