Gawcott/Primrose Hill XC schooling (Spudlet the "to-be" eventing pony ;)

First off, I apologise so much for the lack of editing etc. I am going to kill sony vegas. It kept dissapearing clips and not letting them work and just urg it was doing my head in. Managed to chuck all these on timeline at once, add song and render before anything dissapeared or went wrong, so you are just seeing everything (everything filmed of spud apart from a few more clips where camera was left on posts etc and I havent trimmed them yet). The song I really love and it means a lot to me, I just wish I could have actually edited to it!

Onto the actual xc, oh my god I had the best xc ride of my life! Didn't film a lot, but I will never forget how he went on wednesday. He was FLAWLESS. We warmed up over the little step type complex then over some of the little jumps (nearer the end of the video) then went on to do a sunken road and a little brush, and everything just felt perfect and I just carried on and on, with Marie following on Parker, and we did a course of about 10/15 jumps and I just thought, Wow, this is what xc should feel like. I can't even describe it, but spud listened to everything I said and was so bold and confident and fluid. It was incredible. Marie and I both pulled up at the end high as kites and laughing our heads off with all the adrenaline! After that we just messed around filming some stuff which is why all you see here is single jumps pretty much :P

Some of you may think, how rubbish those jumps are tiny (If i'm honest, even I had expected to jump bigger) but everything was just so perfect and spud was so amazing that there was just no need. The session did exactly what I had wanted it to do, increased our confidence millions of times over. I still keep replaying it all in my head!
Sorry to go on so much but I really am so unbelievably happy with how he went, he is most definitely a xc pony through and through! As cheesy as it sounds, I just feel SO in tune with him right now. I've also had a lot of people say that we just seem to "match" and that we are so obviously so sensitive and responsive to each other. And every time I hear it or think about it I just get this happy little buzz inside me :) I really am the luckiest person alive!

I will in time hopefully get sony vegas co-operating and there are lots of parker clips as well (you can glimpse him in here a bit, and as you can see he had a fab time!)

I also have an edited video started which will hopefully get finished when I get round to it! V busy at mo, got to go shopping for hunting stuff for opening meet this weekend :) Will be my first time in "formal attire" instead of tweed, v excited to look all posh hehe!

Constructive criticism welcome, just bear in mind my confidence has been at rock bottom recently and so this is pretty amazing for us, so don't be too harsh!

Ahh the adrenaline of x country is amazing isnt it:') Lovely videoo! Spud is almost identical to my pony's foal, their heads are like exactly the same and the same markings except the splodge on spuds back:P
