Some people have this solution, others find another way Livid Halcyon put their whole anger, sorrow and hope into their music. On stage they explode, implode and express their innermost feelings through their music. For the audience it..s an energetic stage show, for the band it..s a distinct therapy.
Their sound, which is characterized by melancholy, can be best described as alternative rock that displays the current moods of the band. This also reveals the band..s name: Livid Halcyon Angry (and) quiet A play of contrasts.
In the last years they played shows together with bands like Within Temptation, Rage or Die Happy and made their mixture of heavy guitar riffs and lyrical vocals public at about 150 shows.
But you can..t find Livid Halcyon only on stage but also in your CD player at home. In 2009 they produced their fourth album Winterlove together with Roger Grüninger. It is their most intensive album which was released in November 2009 by Hellfest Records/ Universal. After this production they are burning to enter the stages once again and to invite you to an emotional journey.
