Plug computers have been around for a few years, just not talked about much.
Look-up "Metrohub" out of Germany (its in English). They run some sort of weather server on this device.

@artifactingreality I do not think a big player like IBM has tested the idea. I am too small to need a true super computer.

@enyawix I don't doubt that. Unless I'm mistaken, the most powerful super computers in the world are Linux clusters, but they don't use "plug computers" or any other low power alternatives.

I like the computer, but all of the ideas in this video are stupid. Why would you run your own personal medical record server? That's if you even could, which you can't, plug computer notwithstanding. Who cares about the milk running out? No one. Who would replace a whole data centre with these things? No one.
If there are good uses for this thing, you certainly didn't give any clues away in the video.
