Our family took this trip in June 2009 and had a unbelievable time. Alejandro was our guide. Although, for the kayaking, we picked up an extra guide, since we brought our three children, age 9, 9 and 13, at the time of our trip.
The trip down the side tributary, and the wall glyphs, shown in this video, were perhaps my favorite moments of our time touring in Chiapas.
Ernesto, the owner of Ecochiapas, runs a fantastic service and cares passionately about Chiapas.
