CHAPTER 13:
The phone call had made her day so much better and she went back to playing her guitar hero when she heard Jenn scream from upstairs.
Kelly raced up the stairs to Jenn's room. She found Jenn sitting on the bed staring at her phone.
"What happened? What's wrong?" Kelly asked and Jenn looked up at her.
"Nothing's wrong! Nick was talking to me earlier about how he liked this girl..."
"Well that could be a problem."
"Not if he was talking about me." Jenn said with a smile.
"He was!? What did he say!?"
"He wants to ask me out, but he said he wants to do it in person so they're coming back next week after their tour is over."
"Why can't he just ask you out now and then like take you on a date when they come back?" Kelly asked a little confused.
"I dunno, I think its cute though." Jenn said.
"I'm so excited for you!" Kelly said.
"I bet you I'm even more excited!!!" Jenn said and Kelly laughed.
"I bet so. But seeing the guys again will be cool. We should call Allison and tell her, well leave her a voice mail since she gets off work in like a half-hour. Holy crap its almost 5 o clock!"
"Oh my gosh! DINNER TIMEEE!!!!" Jenn yelled and hopped off her bed, running for the stairs.
It's a tradition in their house that once a week Jenn & Kelly cook dinner and tonight was their night. They had decided to make tacos. Kelly ran down the stairs after Jenn and slid into the kitchen on her socks.
"Haha I'm tom cruise." Kelly said.
"Except you have pants on..." Jenn said and they laughed and got started on dinner.

Allison sighed as she left work, pulling out of the parking lot and heading home.
Her phone rang and she flipped it open "Hey Kel what's up?"
"Heyyy I have good news for you!!"
"Yeah and what's that?"
"The boys are coming back." Kelly said with a grin.
"That is good news!" Allison said smiling.
"I know! Hey, do you wanna go out for ice cream later?"
"Yeah , I could use some, it's been an awful day."
"You sounded like you needed it, that's why I asked." Kelly said.
Allison sighed "I'll tell you about it later ok."
"Alright, meet me at Bruster's at 9:30?"
"Sounds great, I'll see you then." Allison said. They said goodbye and hung up.
Allison walked in her house to find her father shouting and her mom crying. She turned around and walked back out 'so much for family dinner' she said to herself and got back in her car pulling out her phone.
