Erik Mounsey was my cousin and Ian Bairnson the guitarist playing with Alan Pearson is also my cousin..a beautiful way to keep Eriks memory alive.
A song that will live in our hearts always.

@jnb4566 I worked with Erik in the early 90's. One of the nicest guys I've ever met. He gave me his helicopter study guides to use as I was interested in becoming a pilot as well. He was a standup guy and I feel privileged to have known him.

Great you posted this. It's simply touching, mainly because we're all APP fans over here commenting, I'm also a Scot, my grannie was from Lerwick, so it touches me twice. I've always been touched by Ian's cousin's, your cousin's, story, as it proves what war is all about.

My big brother passed away on the 3rd of September this year. :'( He fought in Intensive Care for 3 months. He was 22 years old.
