My basement

Since no one seems to read the comments, I thought I'd give a little description over here.

This was a few years ago, and a few houses ago. Basically the whole town flooded when, I don't know, I think the sewers got backed up or something.

The point is, what you're looking at is just muddy water. No "waste" if you get what I'm saying. I definitely would not have been standing in it, had that been the case.

Ironically, my parents were gone that morning, signing the papers on their new house, while unbeknownst to them, their old house was getting what ended up being about 3-4 feet of water in the basement.

It was, to say the least, a very interesting day.

You should cut all power before walking through standing water in a home to avoid the chance of electric shock. If it got you, you'd probably fall in the water and drown, not being able to move. and funny how everyone thinks that's poop water when it's mud, as description says.
