Landing at Columbia Co. (1B1)

Landing in NY at 1B1 on January 25, 2009. The airport was next to the Hudson River and just a little South of Albany, so the navigation was easy. Really easy to ident the airport in the snow!

Smooth landing . Great job!! I love flying into that airport. Too bad the restaurant at the lodge burnt down.

@pgentj Thanks. I still haven't been able to get back during the green season to see the golf course approach. I didn't know about the restaurant. Too bad. It seems like a nice place to stop on a weekend.

Yeah, there is a restaurant at the nearby golf course. Short walking distance.

Thanks!! I came from NJ, so it was a 45 to left downwind for 21. I only filmed the last bit of base and final though. Looked like a golf course hidden under the snow, so it must be a really nice approach in the Summer!
