For me my grand mother is only next to God and more than my mother itself. She raised me up and her loss was the biggest loss I ever faced in my life. The day she left was like million tsunamis hit me. She was like the banyan tree for all of us. Although we are all grown up now and well settled never realized we were still dependent on her for moral support till the day she suddenly vanished from our life. Will never forget that day and no other loss will be heavier than loosing her.

When I went to visit my grandma,after I returned from US,I found her cooking so many dishes,I asked her "paatti why r u straining so much",her reply was "I have been waiting for you like Padmini in that song as to when my grand daughter would come to see me,this is not at all a strain".Instantly my eyes filled with tears she passed away last sunday on Feb 13 2011.Tears are rolling down my cheeks as I type this. I am sure she knows how much we miss her. She was the cutest woman on earth.
