"Mes Que Un Club" in Catalan, or "More Than A Club" in English, is Barcelona's motto. I got fed up when people say that any other club can have this motto. FC Barcelona is more than a club because it was a symbol for Catalans against dictatorship for years.
So I made this video; it shows only about General Fransisco Franco who opposed Catalonia with all what he can; he even changed the Catalan name "Futbol Club Barcelona" (FC Barcelona) to Spanish "Club de Fútbol Barcelona" (CF Barcelona). Watch the video for more concerning what he did to Catalans and Barca.
Yet, There's another Spanish icons who tried to destroy the Catalan identity and I didn't mention them in the video. The fascist dictator Primo de Rivera would be an example as he closed Barca's stadium in the 1930's.

Why all this hate? I'm a Real Madrid fan, But I respect Barca. I love Soccer, I watch every game for the love of the sport, not just to make fun on Barca fans, or Get mad because Barca is having more success than Madrid.. Concentrate on the sport..
