Real Pottermore Wand

So my daughter is waiting for her email to access Pottermore while I got my email a few days ago and sorted into Gryffindor and got a 13 3/4" fir wand with a phoenix core.
So I was thinking why not make the wand so this was my first attempt, hopefully my daughters wand will be simple also, the only thing left is the bending which will take a few days to warp it correctly.

how much were your laithes? and how do you warp your wands?

@harrypotterfreak4321 The wood lathe can cost as low as $80.00 but this one I think was $100.00 the metal lathe was around $3,500.00 if I remember correctly Ive had it for many years now

I blew up my cauldron!! Has anybody else blown up one? so I had to buy a new cauldron and I lost my house 4 or 5 points :-(

So if you mess up when your making a potion dont put it on full heat thinking its a quick way to start over (lol) it will blow up and melt everywhere with a pretty cool visual effect too........

why take all this trouble? why not just pay 7 galleons to Ollivander and get an awesome wand that belongs to yourself?
