  • @Xarmy187 I want to get a foxbody mustang do you think it would be best to get one that would need work so where I could fix it up. or but one already running? Im open for any suggestions!

  • @TheTerrancejayy if your not good with tools and have no prior experience with these car's, I would find one in decent condition that is running. You can find them quite cheap if you keep an eye out.

  • @Xarmy187 My uncle is an mechanic and his skills are much better with older cars then new. he has more experience working with muscle cars than anything so i figure he can help me out since this will be my first car that I can work on with him for about 1 year so i can be driving my jr year in high school. But i've been looking most of them that were running were around 2500 some that needed alot of work for around 1200-1600

  • @TheTerrancejayy I would keep your eye out for a few months...... you would be surprised what people will sell when they need the money.

  • @Xarmy187 Another thing i was wondering. I was told a car as old as an 89 would have to go to a test only smog. And if you have a cam in the car it wouldn't be street legal. does the same laws apply in Colorado as in California

  • @TheTerrancejayy no, california is MUCH more strict. They have no real way to prove you have a cam, they can't pull the engine apart just to check

as long as it run's good with the cam, you will be fine, but check your local laws. California sucks because they are so strict as far as modifying your car.

  • @AyeItsMike lol, 112 cubic inch's, 1.8L. Its bigger then a lot of 4 banger motors.

  • @FUNNYman1808 if its a 5.0/302 this kit will fit it. But im pretty sure you would need a cowl hood even with his kit that is suppose to use stock hoods on foxbodys.

but with a cowl hood, this kit will fit.
