I was wondering how you are able to get the non-image area surrounding the business card to to grey. GIMP defaults to white and it makes it somewhat difficult to distinguish the card area from the non-image area. Any info. on how to change this setting in GIMP? Anyone?

@SaintNicodemus To change the padding colour, navigate to 'View' > 'Padding Colour' and select an appropriate option. Setting a custom colour or using the dark check colour works well.

I think you should use align to image instead of using the arrow keys to centre your inner border?!

@adamcook6 I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial.
As for your query, you could use either the arrow keys or the align tool. For the tutorial, it's also showing how you can move layers with the arrow keys.

@3VILJ0K3R The logo was added by copying and pasting it from another file. If you don't have a logo, you can create one directly on the business card - you don't have to import one.
