  • Christ stood on the cross condemned in the place of His elect, crushed by the Father, so that He stood the trial and took the death penalty, when we should have, so that those who believe will have life and a right standing with God. That's the gospel. To twist it or manipulate people to come to church makes you a liar, and worse, creates false converts, because they genuinely think they are saved, when in fact, they have not trusted the atoning death of Christ to cover their sins.

    Amen Lord!

  • If your friend was murdered, and the murderer stood at the trial guilty, and your judge just said "you know what, i'm jsut going to let this one go today" would your not say "Injust"!? God is just, and cannot let sin slide. To say that God can, or to imply it is sin, blasphemous and makes God to be a sinner, because he can lie or break His own law. But here is the good news

  • The 'turn or burn' message is exactly the gospel, but why is it? should we be somehow manipulating people and keeping truth from them when all we say is 'God is love'? Or should we love them enough to give them the truth, as it might save their lives? The problem is, God is called 'Holy Holy Holy'; never 'love love love'. God is also a just Judge, and righteous, do you really thing the pure, holy king of the universe can let the lawbreakers go scott free?

  • Bell's problem is that he doesn't care what the word of God says. It's easy to see. Almost every verse he uses in his book is taken out of context and made to say something God never intended the verse to say. If you'd like to read a review that shows Bells errors and the deception behind his work, visit... Hells Bell Dot..... Net

  • @jaydenlawson How you could get this so wrong is astounding.

  • @JammyMower Okay on your next point... your final point. He didn't deny the gospel?! Where on earth did you get that from?! It certainly wasn't from that clip that you played. In that final clip, Rob Bell is talking about the preconceived notions that poeple have been taught about the Bible, and when you actually study it for yourself, you find that it's wayyyy more amazing than anything you've been taught. You find that Love Wins. Which is a lead-in to the book, obviously.

  • Okay on to your next point about absurdities/inconsistencies. You might want to re-think this entire video critique because it is so fundamentally wrong?? Rob is not saying the Christian faith is absurd or inconsistent. He's saying that many, many people see it that way. And for an example - this very video critique!! If I wasn't Christian and I saw you talking like this about another Christian - I would think Christianity is absurd and it obviously has inconsistencies for us to be arguing!

  • Another great video! I think we must also remember that we as sinners will always sin, but will we admit that we are wrong? No, we won't thats not our nature. We will make excuses to only sin. Paul says in Romans 6:1, Paul asks shall we sin that grace may abound? Paul says! No! We need to stop sinning, and admit we are wrong! What Rob is doing is saying, sin is okay, God will never send you to hell! Everyone goes to hell! Great video once again!

  • A Holy and Perfect God does not exhibit human frailties such as hatred and wrath, otherwise He would not be perfect.

  • @Shadowizz

If you aren't a Christian, how do you know what 'Christ likeness' is? How can you say people aren't acting Christ like if you don't even know what that is? Let's keep an open mind here

  • @00008961 I understand your point but is that in Islam Judaism even Christians I see this a lot for example Christian Religions such as Pentecostal Baptist Catholics Jehova witnesses Mormons etc many of these Christian religion always said this is false this is not the gospel blah blah I see that many Christians have stop other Christians from proclaiming the truth one has a different belief then others but the way i believe is that some people dont act like Christ and are quick to judge

  • @00008961 Ok thanks i got a lot of questions but i got out of church because of fear and people telling me going to hell and stuff and when you question people want you to believe in something they believe but I can believe in something with out the 5 W's What where why when who. I wanna learn but i need to learn the main point reasons and the conclusion. Is just I can seem to believe in something like for example i see a lot of christian beliefs and religions stating this is real etc.
